From work (don't ride all the way to work, don't want to do a couple of the climbs that early, so I take the light rail to avoid them) to home. If I drive, min 45 minutes, longer if traffic is bad. Combo of walking, taking the bus, and light rail, 2 hours. Riding home 24 miles, about 1:15. As long as the weather is good and I am not racing, I'm riding home daily.

I'd ride everyday if I was up to it but I almost always feel better and faster on my ride if I alternate riding days with driving days.

Kudos if you can ride everyday.. you're using that much less gas.

I ride every day. I would ride even if gas were free. It takes me min 39 minutes to ride, about 22 to drive. In bad conditions, it can take up to 55 minutes to ride (extreme case, snow, very cold, and headwinds). Worst case in summer is about 47 minutes (headwinds, rain).

I can't drive normally, we only have one car and my wife needs it for the kids. But will still ride/public trans 3 or so days a week when we get a second car
