hi guys, i`m new to the world of track cycling, but i went down today for just the second time to my local keirin track (i live in japan), and did a 1km and a 3km run.
i got 1.20.10 for the 1km, and 4.05 dead for the 3km. it was windy, blustery, and i was on my road bike. is that any good? thanks...

its a little hard to say. track times are based on fixed gearings. Did you change gears at all from the moment you first started in either run?
uh, on the first one yeah, not on the second - i`m pretty sure i was in a 53x14 - possibly 15 - all the way.
That's a decent kilo time. At the regional championships here last year the Senior men ranged from 1:11 to 1:25. Your time would have put you tenth out of fifteen.
