Rode south on the Redster tandem from home sweet home in downtown SL. ...Poked our way across frontage roads and sniffed out Ikea, stopped for lunch, and rode home.
What fun!
By the way, after a brief flirtation with Bangerter Highway, I know why they have those NO BIKES signs.

Sounds fun! I hope to get out this week as work kept me indoors most of last week.
I rode Traverse Mtn. from Lehi side yesterday at lunch, and it was also a great ride with very pleasant weather. I think I hear rain at this time, so maybe not ridin today at lunch.
All winter long, if there was a day almost decent enough to ride, I was on my bike. And now spring is here, and house painting, and yard work, has pushed me into riding just a few miles a week. It sucks.
Rethink your priorities, Al.:)
Rode mountain bike through trails at Lambert Park, and on the way back to work, mounted road bike and rode Traverse Mountain. Very nice lunch break from work. Weather could not have been better.
I'm jealous. I'm getting ready to go out and do a Layton to Bountiful and back. I'm not going in to work until noon, just working a half day so I can play a little.
Did anyone do the Sal Lake Century or the Bear Lake race? I missed them both this year.
Yeppers!
SL Cent. was our first century ever!
Beautiful weather, made good time, no complaints except for pollen, and that doesn't really count.
Tour de Cure in Brigham for you?
Or gonna wolf or ride for the Red Riding Hood?
Second Mouse and Mini Mouse will be wolfing at the Preston LRRH water stop. Mrs. Mouse will be doing the century loop.
Second & Mini won't be athletes that day but we will be athletic supporters. Stop in & say hi.
*edit* We're now doing the inbound Trenton water stop instead of Preston.
You doing tour de cure? how are you getting up there? know anyone that would have room for 2 bikes?... oh yeah... and 2 riders as well?

Yarr
PM me if you really want to carpool or sumpin'
Several of the Utah Velo Club members will be riding in the event (Stan's Team). I live in Provo, and will be going up there by myself. I will have a crew cab dodge and one bike. I can transport people and equipment if needed.
For LRRH I'll be SAG wolfing between Trenton and Lewiston (my home-town) while Malkin is riding. So wait until you see an old blue Ford Ranger before you have a flat.
Cheers!
