Mounted up the TIME cleats to the SIDI shoes tonite, and CANNOT make
the cleat engage the pedal....?? The cleat spacer is INTACT, per the recommendation/instruction sheet provided by TIME....
Must be doing something wrong, as engagement is not possible....???

xrmattaz,
I too have the Sidi Genius 3 model using the Look system. I don't understand why you CANNOT engage the pedal. What is obstructing the cleat? Is the cleat shifted to far to one direction causing the shoe to bind against the pedal? Look at the Sidi recommended assembly for the TIME system (should have come in the box). If all else fails, call SIDI directly. The shoes you chose are great. Never had a better fit. Good luck and please post again once you correct the problem. Curious.

Imagine the problem was due to my first using the big brass colored
screws rather than the recessed slotted screws. The larger ones were
causing interference with the pedal.
Don't quite understand how some folks use the TIME cleats with NO LOOK adapter plate?? The TIME cleats are too wide to fit into the recessed portion of the SIDI sole....
Works fine now!
