:mad:I needed new tires...took wheels to LBS to just have them do it to save me time. They let the "new guy" do it. He blew up one tube, handed me one that was not seated and now I'm home and the rear tires is essentially on backwards because for the tire rotation arrow to be going in the right direction, the cassette would be on the wrong side!!!!

Is this tire rotation arrow really important? Do I need to take off the tire or can I leave it as is??? Thanks, Crystal

It would matter in the rain, how much? I don't know but I would suspect not a lot.

I think directional tires are overblown. Look for other posts on BF. The short of it is: You have to be really heavy, ride really hard, in a really serious rainstorm to make a difference.
Otherise you will not get enough pressure to push away the water between your tire and the road
Change the direction when you get your first flat
