I don't see any reason why not. Your LBS can probably hook you up with more information and a test ride, and they'll know be able to find out the weight limit specs on that ride.
It doesn't use the 24 spoke wheels that most Lemonds use - I don't see why it wouldn't work fine for you.
Also - this year it has the gorgeous red/white look. Beautiful paint job.
