Recreational & Family - So I picked the Electra Townie!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I updated my thread below, but wanted to be sure to thank everyone who responded, and especially those who put in a good word for Electra. We bought it today. It's lime green and has matching fenders and a silver saddle/grips. I'm planning to buy a silver basket, a bell, and maybe even streamers, lol.
We went riding in the park today with the kids and had a blast. I love this thing already. I'm very happy with my purchase.
how much did you have to pay if you don't mind my asking?

What Townie model did you end up purchasing? I am looking into getting one but also want to tow a bike trailer with my 16mo. old son. I was told that a Townie 21 would be good.
Thanks for your feedback.

Sorry I didn't see these questions sooner. I just got email notification of them today.
I got the Townie 21 and it cost $450.

There are a lot of happy Townie owners out there. Most find them very comfy. Don't hear many complaints about them.
