Birthday Ride

That time of year is back.... The birthday month. The goal was to ride my soon to be age. 60. This time last year it didn't seem possible but not losing a winter to no riding really helped.

Our local club had a 50 miler scheduled for today. That and 10 miles after the club ride did it.

Congratulations. Happy birthday month and ride! I too would not have thought 60 miles possible a year ago, so have appreciation for how great it feels to get older but rider farther.

One additional mile a year for the next forty and its a full century.
