Hi everyone! :)
I just thought I'd get this started for all of us who are watching tthe race online today.
Should be a good one for the sprinters. Think Daniele Bennati could do it today. Who do you like for the stage win?

Robbie. For no other reason than it's about time he start winning.
McEwen won a stage of the Tour of Romandie about a week ago
anyone see how that crash happened?
anyone see how that crash happened?
Not me. :( I left for a minute (I'm watching from work) and missed it. Anyone else?
The replays didn't show much.
Typical first week for the Giro: lots of crashes. Brad McGee is out with what appears to be a broken collarbone.
mcgee is on the stretcher and outta the race.
I think the Italians are trying to jettison the English speakers.
What a ****ing finish! I've never seen so many elbows and shoulders being thrown...

Nice call.
Nice call.
Thanks, Justin. :)
I could hardly believe it myself. I'm usually terrible at guessing the winners.
Well in ONE of the crashes - the one where McGee was hurt, a Tinkoff (I think) guy went wide in the left hand corner, hit a bit of gravel on the pavement and went down. He hit the curb and bounced back into the flow of the gruppo. Then it was just like dominos. Lots of crashing in the Giro this year!
Yeah that Tinkoff guy totally overshot the turn. His bike actually went sliding back into the peloton and took out McGee's bike.
Man, Hondo is one squirrely sprinter.

Always has been.
God bless Zabel. Giving hope to old guys everywhere.
I hope he gets a stage this year, he's one of my favorite riders.
Even better: he was a last-second addition to the Milram team, following the Pettachi ruling.
