Yes I've browsed through the threads that touch on this subject, but I just want to know if this is the same injury that others are experiencing. My left sit bone (or something near it) gets a little sore after a couple of days of riding. This started after I started adding a longer day every week. The spot feels like a ligament that moves over the sit bone. It doesn't hurt so much that I can't ride, but I wish it felt normal again. I tried not riding for a week, but this did not help. I got on the but-o-meter at the LBS and went with a wider saddle, but still have the pain. I've also flipped my stem along with other adjustments get more upright, but still there. Before I go to the doctor should I just lay off the bike longer?

I had this when I first started riding. It turned out that I had asymettrical flexibility in my him flexors and hamstrings, and this meant that I wasn't sitting square on the bike.
Some good flexibility work (cyclo-core and cyclo-zen for me) straightened me out, and also made much much looser on the bike.
cyclo-core/cyclo-zen? Is there a good place on the web to get info on this type of stretching? This could be my problem, because I have noticed that my hamstrings seem to be tight. I do not currently do a lot of stretching anyway.
