Foo - Who here wrote about how they liked McD's new chicken sammie?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Cause, and I'm pretty sure it's a national campaign, on Thursday at noon and for supper - you get a free chicken sammie - with purchase of a med or large drink. :)
BTW, they are free Thursday with purchase of med. or lg. drink at participating McD's, and it covers the chicken biscuit and the so. style chicken sandwich.

Had one before Sea Otter and found it was tasteless and utterly unsatisfying.

The mere mention of McDonald's makes me nauseous. I saw a billboard for some sort of chicken biscuit on my roadtrip last weekend and nearly vomited. The culinary equivalent of the Corolla.

It makes you nauseated, not nauseous. For something to be nauseous, it must make one experience nausea. In this situation, McDonald's in nauseous and you are nauseated.

I don't know, maybe he had it right. ;)

Thanks for the clarification. I actually wrestled with word choice before clicking Submit, and nauseated was my gut instinct.....but then the nauseated feeling affected my gut feeling which is why I chose the wrong conjugation.

I don't have a tv.
I just came in here to make sure Kris updated us on the status of the empty, TV-shaped hole in his heart. He has.
Carry on talking about... whatever the hell.

Shall we take up a collection to buy Kris a TV?
I'll spot him a $1 McD's gift certificate.

Hot diggity dang! Tude, you're a peach.
I'm all about the McDonald's Southern-Style Chick-Fil-A Sandwich, no matter how many sodium laced calories of heart attack aham23 says it contains.
I have been looking forward to another one since my recent thread of appreciation.
Here begins the countdown! Only two days until Free McDonald's Southern-Style Chick-Fil-A Sandwich Day!
Commence nervous salivation! :twitchy:

It's not anywhere near the deliciousness of a Chik-Fil-A. Like saying a Walmart bike is the same as a Trek.

To mine northern Chick-Fil-A deprived taste buds it was a close enough approximation to make me quite giddy.
Lowered expectations = Higher perceived reward.
Lowering my expectations from that, I expect my second McDonald's Southern-Style Chick-Fil-A Sandwich will not be anywhere as glorious as the first.
Pessimism makes life's little victories oh so sweet.
There is only one place to get fried chickens, and that is Gus's Fried Chicken.

Step away from the thread, please.
This has nothing to do with four fried chickens. And a Coke.
You want a fried chickenses thread, you start one up. Think, will you?

The best fried chicken I ever had was in Harlem. It's not strictly a southern thing.
