I picked up a pair of PI arm warmers last Friday and used them for my commute this morning. It was about 58 degrees and sunny. Normally with that weather I'd wear a wind breaker and get to work (11 miles) covered in sweat. Today, wearing jeans, T-shirt and the arm warmers I wasn't cold and got to work sweat-free. Nice! :thumb:

I have a set of armwarms from my team and I love the things. Heck when it's winter here in Socal (it doesn't get all that cold) I'll put them on instead of a sweater. I mean I'll walk around the house w/ a T-shirt and armwarmers on and go to class that way too.

I love the damn things.

Never heard of this.
Why?
If its cold I want to be warm in my torso. Arms are secondary.
I am fighting to keep my water from freezing and my face from frostbite.

They have elastic.

I love my armwarmers. They are just the thing for spring and fall commuting (or rec riding, or racing, or whatever). From March to mid-May and October-November it's usually too cool in the morning for a shortsleeve jersey in the morning and too warm in the afternoon for a longsleeve jersey. This is the perfect solution to that particular problem.

During some Spring and Fall days in the D.C. metro area it can be quite chilly in the morning and toasty for the ride home. Arm warmers allow me to wear short sleeve jerseys. On the ride home they'll fit in my jersey pocket or camelback backpack.
When it gets a bit colder long sleeve jerseys with think windbreaker vests are the next level.

DeFeet also makes nice arm warmers. I use them a lot in the spring and fall.

just got a Bellwether pair, but have yet to use them.
i know they fit at least, and will be a compliment to riding!
