Hi...my fiance and I rode the Tour d' Lincoln last weekend and saw a number of folks in nice looking red/black team jerseys. We spoke to a couple afterwards and they said they were in a relatively new club out of Folsom...Team Revolution. The club started in November of last year, so it is pretty new.
Apparently they are sponsored by a new bike shop there...but I've completely been unable to find anything on the web about the club. Does anyone out there know where I can visit the club's website or the name of the cycle store to contact?
I'd like to check the club out...anyone have any contacts?
Regards,
Roger

I got in a pace line with three of those folks for the last 6 miles....I was wondering the same thing! Who are they and where are they from?

Good questions and the same ones that I have! There are not that many bicycle stores out in Folsom to sponsor a club. The two members we chatted with said the owner of the store/club leader is or was a physical therapist who does cycling training and his website had a good breakout of the demographics of the club.
It's not a racing club apparently, but has a good (according to the folks we spoke with) X-section of riders. I'm hoping someone out there will see this post and be able to provide some information!

Mike Beretta (see top Gold Level sponsor) started this team. It's definitely a CLUB at this point, but Team sounds way cooler. One of my coworkers (also a physical therapist) knows him well and suggested I join. Unfortunately, most of their training rides occur in El Dorado Hills which is about an hour drive from where I live and it just wouldn't work out for any regular participation. He's a really nice guy. Invited me to their open house to come and mingle but I couldn't make it. It looks like a good group of riders, I just wish I lived closer.
He's a coach for the cycling-training.com team as well. If you're looking for a race team instead of a riding club. Their website is: http://cycling-training.com/
Reminds me. I need to call him to schedule a bike fit. I keep putting it off. That hour drive is not a motivator. ;)
(edit) Bayern, you should just email Mike at info@berettapt.com (info@berettapt.com). I'm sure he'd be happy to give you more info.

Thanks redspoke! I'll shoot Mike an email. Tried to register at their Team Revolutions website, but it appears to be down. Thanks again!
