This is the order I check racing news, esp when there's a big race.
1. Cyclingnews - in general they're very nice to the race fans, their headlines normally don't give away who won, even a day later. Instead of saying "B* on his win" they'll say "Italian claims maiden.." so you can sort of guess, you'll know certain people didn't win, but you really don't know. So I go there first, read the Live report (it's easier if the race is already done, then I can just read the long one page version, not the 15-20 page version). To me they are a true cycling fan's site, not just reporting results.
2. BF - because there may be a spoiler (there haven't been for a while) I come here second. If the race is done then I can see what other fans thought of the race.
3. Velonews - they either think "real fans watch the event live" or they really don't care about the fans who are not in touch with the races in real time. They not only give away the name, they put up a picture before the guy climbs off his bike. Great if you're CNN, not great if you're a cycling fan looking to read the "Live report" to see what happened. So after finding out who won, how they won, and what some "real" folks thing of it, I look here to see what it looked like.
Was wondering what other BFers do, where else they look.
Typically I can't watch online stuff too long unless it's raining and I'm doing a long trainer ride. And since I'm not at a desk all day, I can't sit and read the live report as it happens (I used to). I don't have and don't plan on having cable so no TV.
