Mini V-Brakes: Campy or Tektro, 80 or 85mm?

As the thread title says, I'd be interested in feedback on the differences between these brakes:

Campagnolo Veloce (85mm) - €58
Campagnolo Mirage (85mm) - €50
Tektro Mini-V (80mm) - €36

These are the options I have from this Geman eBay shop (http://search.stores.ebay.ie/RoBa-Shop_brake_W0QQfciZQ2d1QQfclZ3QQfsnZRoBaQ20ShopQQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQsaselZ87780419QQsofpZ0), if anyone has other convenient options for a European I'd be happy to hear them.

I'd be using these with Shimano 105 STI levers. Converting from Shimano Altus cantis which are dreadful.

What are the issues with 85/80mm - which is better for braking, what are the trade-offs (clearance?) Am I right that 80mm should require less cable pull (and thus work better with STI shifters) but have slightly less clearance?

85mm is the proper length for sti's.

take tektro rx 5 , stronger springs than campy ,lighter ,cheaper ,85 mm
cheaper brakepades,
standard brakepads will fit
campy has an own standard .

Anyone know when the Tektro RX6 (http://www.tektro.com/02products/10qb.php) will be released?
They have 90mm arms and Quick Release.

Thanks for that Elmar. So 926 is the Tektro part number for that 80mm, right? Any idea where to find these RX5 that will ship to Ireland; for some reason Germany seems to be the home of mini-V brakes ;-) Do you sell them yourself? I'm sending you an email in case you do for more info.

germany is the home of the mini-v ,because i am the mini-v missionary man .
i hab1000 ridicoulous dicussions wizjh guys who newer rode them ,but wrote.
now more than 50 % of the riders use mini-v.

the only disadvantage is less mud clearnace , and a softer pressurepoint.
i rode 3 seasons now,with 15-20 races /year .
i never hard to change the bike more often ,than the other guys,in muddy races..
a very big advantage is that mini-v brakepads fit with nearly every rim ,
you dont have to change pads ,when changing rims from alloy to carbon .
they wor in rain and snow much better .
the pressurepoint can be much better with nokon or jagwire reinforced ones. the ones from shimano for mechanical disc-brakes work ,.too.
there is absolutely no fork-shutter .
you save a lot of money ,because even cheap brakepads work .
you can use avid tuningkits to get a weight to 120 gramm.

They should do, yes, they use the same fitting points as cantilevers so if you have canti bosses they will fit onto the frame/fork.

I use cantilever on the front, long reach caliper on the back.
I dont understand why you would not have to change pads when changing rims from alloy to carbon. I though carbon rims need special pads.

I can understand they work better for rain/snow because the seem to have a higher pull potential with the arms being lower/closer to the pads.

I don't understand how it will fit nearly every rim, don't you still have to adjust the pad angle in or out to make contact with the rim properly?

all pads work on all rims ,that we use
i use 5 different alloy , 3 different carbon rims
they dont squeeze .
in cyclocross rims dont become hot , perhaps thats the reason .
