Sorry, one more link:

http://www.myp2p.eu/ has a few links for live streaming broadcast. One of them I posted, above, but there are higher quality ones around.

There is a beautiful high quality NRK feed on http://cyclingfans.com/

It looks almost high definition. I have a real crappy monitor, so if it looks great on my monitor, it'll be even more spectacular for everyone else. LOL!

I wanted to post that before I left. Unfortunately I have an appointment and will miss the rest of the stage.

Have fun guys! I'll probably "see" you tomorrow.

Damn I was going to watch this result on Animal Planet tonight, thanks for ruining it.

Looks like Bjarne Riis can rest easy. Millar just moved to the top rankings in temper tantrum bike throws.

Yeah. It looked like he had the legs to win it too. What a shame. :(

Nope, and certainly doesn't reflect well on the sponsors. This guy just has terrible luck (admittedly some of it avoidable): Disc wheel blowing up in a TT; chain falling off during a TT (avoidable); and now this.

Maybe the cycling gods are still angry?

Is cycling really that "civilized"? Not being argumentative, just a serious question from someone who is a newbie to all of this. I'm thinking if that happened to me I'd be doing a lot more than saying "oh shucks". Especially if I felt I had the break under control (which he may or may not have). I may not chuck the bike, but I'd be pretty dang hot.

Would it have been better to maybe push the bike (as fast as possible of course) and hope to finish with the pack and at least limit the time differential to the GC leaders? Or was he able to get a spare bike and accomplish that anyway so close to the finish?

Maybe dumb questions. But I am dumb :D

You think. I thought Bjarne's toss was worthy of more style points. He tossed his with more pizzaz.

I'm just glad I don't have a camera on ME sometimes... LOL!

I wondered about that too.

Isn't the Pissed off racer bike toss an olympic sport for 2012?
I seem to recall Jaja tossing a bike with serious style points, and distance.

Millar came in 119 out of 190 so yah, I'd be pissed off too.

According to Vaughters, the chain didn't break at a pin, but in the middle of a link. How much freaking bad luck is that?

I’ve been reviewing some Aztec sacrificial procedures the last few hours. Somehow, I think I’ve gotten it wrong. The manual is very hard to read to say the least, and the animals in our neighborhood seem to have become scarce recently. It’s either that or the fax to the Devil releasing my soul got stuck in the machine. I don’t know. But one way or another, we need to change something around here.

After looking at the chain that Mr. Millar broke today, the mechanics are plain dumbfounded. It didn’t break on the pin, but right in the middle of the link.

Why!!?? WHY?!!! (Screaming at the sky and looking scornfully at [insert denominational deity here].)

Anyhow, I guess this stuff happens. I mean, we only won the TTT by 6 seconds. And I’m sure that somewhere in those 6 seconds is some good luck. A corner we took faster than anyone else, but didn’t crash, something… So, you have to take the good with the bad, the ups with the downs.

I mean, how fun would it be if this team was just riding well or “good” everyday. No, no…We are either excellent or in a ditch crying.

I wouldn’t have it any other way, would you?

Nice catch. I think I also see his handlebar plug on the pave.

unless pave is a lopped of term of pavement, and since bac is in pennsylvania, well...pavement... pave....

nevermind.

In my defense, I didn't use an accent mark over the "e". :D

Yeah, you can see how hard Nuyens hits the pavement... Probably looked exactly the same way when I hit the deck and broke my collarbone...

For those of you who are Mac, no need to download silverlight. Millar's Olympic Medal Winning throw can be seen here:
