Mountain Biking - Attention: 2001 Specialized Enduro owners

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
FYI....
Check out the following link about a recall on all 2001 FSR Enduro's.

Just goes to show that there are potential lemons in the pile of every manufacturer. No one is immune.
BTW, I'm not picking on Specialized (I own a Specialized and happy with it), but making a point for some of the recent Cannondale bashing...
Now I wish they would recall my '03 Stumpjumper frame so I can get one of those spiffy '04 ones as a replacement!

This issue is over 2 years old, Specialized issued the recall about a month after production started, only a few bikes got out and they replaced the chainstays on them.
Every manufacturer has bikes that break, the important part is that specialized actually issues recalls and then fixes your bike before it breaks, instead of waiting for it to break and not warrantying it, or pulling a Zochi and offering to trade you for a new one at a reduced price.
When Specialized screws up they take responsibility, I like that.
