The frame for our Co-Motion Robusta went to paint friday. Any idea how long from there to paint, cure, assemble, and ship? I'm getting anxious.

I think they're tired of hearing from me.
If they're customer service is as good as they claim and you're writing them a big check I wouldn't care how tired they were of hearing from me.
Giv'em a call, inquiring minds want to know...Or better yet, have your wife make the call!

The frame for our Co-Motion Robusta went to paint friday. Any idea how long from there to paint, cure, assemble, and ship? I'm getting anxious.
Actually, with Co-Motion it's paint, cure, ship and then your dealer does the final assembly. Well, there are a number of quality control checks and packing that between cure and ship, but you get the idea.
Seriously, unless something has changed, Co-Motion ships the frame unassembled in one box and all of the other components go into a second over-sized wheel box. This is one of the reasons that you want to make sure you have a really good dealer with some better than average mechanics, as they are the ones that do the assembly work.
As for calling Co-Motion too often, that's a personal matter. I try not to be a bother to the folks I do business with and will queue up a couple questions when time is not of the essence and then send off an Email with the expectation that they'll get back to me in a couple of days. If I get an answer sooner, that's gravy. However, if there's something that I need or want to know NOW, I pick up the phone and call. Also, I try to make a point of always talking to the same person and build on that relationship. Yeah, the customer's always right and we are writing the checks; however, I'd rather be the guy they don't mind shooting the breeze with instead of the one no one wants to talk to.
Took us about 3 weeks from the time that we were told the frame went to paint until it was ready for us. I called Eugene a couple of times because the ship date kept getting pushed/missed.
+1 on needing a good LBS with great tandem mechanics. It's not like putting a jigsaw puzzle together--requires a lot of careful attention, fitting, adjustment.

Can't recall exactly but with our Co-Mo it was a bit under 3weeks from cutting metal to
assembly at the shop. The paint is a bit on the soft side, ie dropped allen wrenches in
the 3-5mm range can ding it. As I noted previously, the tubing is thin. Don't hang a
backpack water bag off the steering bar with the bike leaned up against a post.
Bike just got to the LBS. I'm heading over at lunchtime to take a look at it.
10 days.
