Happy birthday OC Roadie!
Thanks Everyone!
I'm in New York City for the week and my internet connection is hideous. I brought my bike with me and did a 60 miler to celebrate. I now have "street cred" for braving the city streets.

Cool...any good stories???
I assume you rode in Central Park. The first time I rode there I was worried about the "big hill" at the NW corner because of what I read on the forums. I'm sure you felt the same way I did..."You call this a hill???"
Have a great time. I love The City.
Cheers.

I took city streets from Chelsea to Central Park, did a lap, got bored and went up to the George Washington Bridge and crossed over into NJ. Went north through Palisades State Park, that was awesome, I thought I got on 9W north, but actually was riding on a shoulder of the the State Highway, I had a feeling I wasn't supposed to be there  Turned around somewhere near Nyack.

Pat, I envy you, sounds like a good time!
Happy birthday! Did you ever make it into the Santa Monicas a couple weeks back? If you did, how did you like it?
