Hey so for my 4 -> 3 upgrade I have a question about a race placing.

The race was a 3/4 race and I finished 44th overall, but I finished 7th out of the 4's. Would this count as a top 10? Or am I SOL?

Another top ten I had (10th) was changed to 11th about three weeks after the race was over. The result was up on the USA cycling site, as 10th, but now it's 11th. It was 10th when I left the race, way after the 15 minute protest period. So WTF? Should I just claim it as a top ten, or say I got 11th, but throw a little note in?

you finished 44th. probably a "pack" finish that can be used as the experiential upgrade requirement.

the "11th", check and make sure there are actually 10 folks listed in front of you on the results. team mate of mine finished 7th in a race a few weeks back, the camera missed him. got it straightened out during protest period, got his $10 or so, but when final results were posted on line, it said 6th - racer name, 8th, racer name, 9th, and so on. no 7th identified. he contacted the promoter and got it resolved as a data input error. maybe same for you. otherwise, you're probably sol on the 10th place you thought you had.
