Anyone have expierence or opinions on securing a trail-a-bike? I just got one for my son this year. We live in a suburb that pretty much expierences bike thefts as a crime of opportunity (versus spending time working on defeating a lock).

I've been carrying a 6' braided cable, running it through the TAB and back to my lock. Its a pain, but I'd rather not have the TAB stolen off my (locked) bike if I didn't go through the hassle.

Anyone have other ideas?

That's what I do. The pain of locking everything is easier to bear then walking home with an upset 5 year old and a bike with no seat or seatpost.

I jack knife my tab and run the lock cable thru the wheels
