I was wondering if anyone on the boards goes to Saddleback Church. I'm going to be at my parents this weekend (5/18/08) and was looking to ride.

Anyone maybe want to take recovery paced ride before the 9am service? Or we could meet around 8 and head out and back for the 11:30 (i think) service.

Also, I don't think Saddleback has a cycling club, maybe we could start one as well.

PM me or reply here if interested, thanks!
Bobby

Hey Bobby,

There is a cycling group at saddleback. I dont have the contact info anymore, sorry. Check out www.saddlebackfamily.com it will probably be on there somewhere.

As for Sunday they usually do a full ride on sundays. I think the group goes to the evening or saturday services.

If you are looking for a recovery ride you are welcome to join me and my club at the Huntington Beach Pier at 8am. (www.ocvelo.com) You wont be done in time for the 9am service but you would be able to make the evening services. Thats what I usually would do.

PM me if you need directions.

I wonder if they start with a nice decent from the campus and then climb back up to finish :)

I don't go to Saddleback, I go to Calvary Chapel on Fairview and Sunflower and would love to find others there that ride, but I'm not sure how to go about it.

Good luck finding others.

Put an announcement in the church bulletin asking for riders :)

I've been going there for nearly 7 years, I live across the street from it and my daughter when to school there, but the place is so big that I'm not sure I've ever seen a bulletin board. I'll have to ask around. With about 15K people going there, I can't be the only one...can I?
