I'm in (unless it's raining). This is really a pretty good ride. Some rollers, some "tour de' la mansions" through Barrington. Anybody else in? SmokinMiles, how early are you planning on heading up there? I notice the brochure says "helmets required". Alright, who told them?

Who else is going, what time are you starting, and how far are you riding?

The complimentary massage afterwards was great.:thumb:

I will be embracing my role as a parent this weekend. Yay for me (my son is awesome), boo for my form. If I can get Nana to sub for me for a bit then I might be able to get in....Extreme doubtability on that one.

I haven't decided between this and my usual group ride.

I'm leaving here at 6 which should put me there about 6:35 and hopefully riding by 7am. Are you coming out that early? I'm planning on the 54 mile route.

They should add to their brochure "head trauma sucks"

I'm watching the weather. Right now it says only 30% chance. 54 sounds about right for me. 7:00 is possibility. I'll post Sat. night.

Something you caught from the "Mouse"???

I think you should come...I don't care how sick you are. Voldemort and I might then be able to hang with you. :)

I plan to give my group ride a shot tomorrow morning. If that goes well ??? ??? ??? (50 pretty hard miles), I plant to try to make it. I have no idea how I'll ride. Still pretty bad cold but all above the throat.

You could always trade tomorrow's normal group ride for the one we do out of the Village Pedaler. Only 20 something miles and the pace is less than killer.

I am getting up super early to drop Andrew off at Nana's so that I can get at least a little riding in....

i got a 5am wake up call. this gives me time to gear up and get our for 2 hours before the wife has her things to do. what pisses me off is the darn weather forecast. 18 mph winds at 6am. WTF!!!! do i really want to get up that early to get my arse handed to me. riding solo into that kind of rind will hurt. :notamused:

i cant wait.

aham23 likes cheap cali red wines and suffering. just not at the same time. i think?? :innocent:

later.

Thanks Psi, I got up at 4:45 and feel OK. My usual group ride is normally a real good workout. I'll post data ... if I survive. No idea if I have any legs or not. I'll just warn people I'm going to be snotting all over the place (even more than usual).

Fairly spirited and I actually won the first sprint, 3rd and 3rd for the others.

I have to load my screen capture software to show the graphs. Pretty decent power for a group ride.

I plan to give it a go tomorrow. This will be a good learning experience for CyLowe's double header.

Please go easy on me Vold and Smokin, I don't think I'll have much of anything left in the tank.

Um....I ran 15 !!!! miles this morning by accident which is another story. Not exactly going to be "lighting it up" tomorrow.

Glad you're feeling better...please, don't snot on us tomorrow. Voldy and I are rather...highbrow! :roflmao2:

Nice run!

The only reason I think your safe is because you'll almost assuredly be ahead of me. It's the people behind me that need to look out. I'll be there before 7.

Hey Guys,

I'm out for this one. :( The horse show went much later than usual and I'm not looking at getting to bed till midnight...back up at 5:00....already exhausted. Sorry, this one just isn't happening for me.

Have a great time! Crystal

By accident? Let me guess. You were sleep-running?

I AM a bit worried by Colorchange's sandbagging-type comments about how poorly he'll ride.:speedy:

Sorry Smokin, next time.

Vold ... I've never done a big ride after a hard ride so I just don't know how I'll do.

Besides, I would never sand bag, ... well not much ... well ...

Maybe I'll just go home and get my race wheels just in case.
