Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

At first I was fascinated by the bike (AL frame, welds look like they were done last week, 303 on the front?), and then I saw the helmet... Did he stop by a military surplus store on the way to the prologue?

David Millar might be wondering the same thing about gear choices.
Thats an interesting frame. All the highend Felt TT bikes currently available are carbon.
That think looks like a Hooker with the paint stripped off.

More than likely that's the bike and the helmet he choose to ride. They probably stripped the paint off of it for sponsorship reasons.

Me thinks the front wheel is a 404. the SRM "monitor" has a weird position between his aerobars. But I guess that's where the monstrosity fits.

That's what I thought this was about. I'm waiting for the thread in Bike Mechanics. "I was riding my bike when... What should I do?" << intentionally abbreviated so as not to spoil anything.

Some "pros" riding for slipstream are making less than $1000 a month and needless to say they aren't getting all the high end stuff and tunnel time.

But do they at least get all the burritos they can eat so they can create their own foul-smelling "wind tunnel"?
If I were a felt rep I'd be pretty pissed about him riding that. At least go the lance route and slap a Felt logo on it.

If you were a Felt rep and that pissed, you should have given him a bike.

Good point, I guess I was assuming they gave him something to ride and he chose to ride that thing.
