We did this last year during the bad weather. Like your avitar, your desktop background reflects where you are in life. Let's see them one more time. This new one reflects my current feeling about PEDs in the woods. As you can tell, I have come down from the high moral road just a little.

That's a pretty neat picture.... Right now I have one from my first trip to Hawaii last year. I will be returning for my wedding in July, so this is on my desktop as a reminder of how nice it's going to be.

This is the same as the winter one, but whatever. Taken on the Lake Pepin 3-Speed tour in Wisconsin, and event that's coming up again May 17th - 18th 2008! Bob Allen and Mark Huber on 3-Speed Raleighs.http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee179/bikephoto1/Notallroadswerepaved.jpg

Vary mine a bit but trying to persuade the wife that another trip to France is necessary so these two get alternated. Pic of the climb at Ventoux just as I left the tree line and the water garden at the Bambousserie (Bamboo garden)

This is Devil's Post Pile National Monument near Mammoth Lakes, CA. This was our last stop on a 15 day camping trip we took last summer. My youngest son (14 at the time) planned the trip. We camped at Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park, Yosemite National Park (in both the valley and in Tuolumne Meadows), then over the Tioga Pass to Mammoth Lakes. Of all the locations, Devil's Post Pile was the one that intrigued my son the most.

We set out to make the hike early in the morning. Hopped on the shuttle bus for the E Ticket ride to the trail head and headed out on the trail. When we arrived at Devil's Post Pile, my son wanted the camera to take some pictures. We had the camera but the batteries were back in the car recharging.

Checked the map and Red's Meadow had a small store and was only a few miles away. We made the hike over to Rainbow Falls, looped around to the little store at Red's Meadow to get batteries (and ice cream) and back to Devil's Post Pile for some pictures. Ended the day hiking further than we'd planned but my son got his pictures and we all got some good family memories.

Someone here posted a beautiful picture of the lighthouse at Point Reyes last year. It still serves as my wallpaper until I see a more beautiful picture come along.

But after Tuesday's ride I changed to the gals that at passed on the road:

And will no doubt change again after Saturday's ride with the family.

I change my desktop at work almost every week. This is the
current one. That's one of my daughters on the right during her school's
presentation of Pippin.

Photo taken and made public by one of the school Profs.

Vista wants all new peripherals, more resources, and four times slower than XP so I upgraded to ubuntu 8.04. Now it's four times faster than XP!

I use a wallpaper randomizer (http://www.vcreations.net/product.asp?pID=28), so I couldn't possibly post here what pictures I use since it rotates every 5 minutes.

Most (if not all) are pictures of my Jeep. Of course with the gas prices I don't drive it very often.

I have trouble living with my decisions. Sometimes I change my desktop twice in a single day.
