Hi all,

I am playing in a few concerts coming up, just thought I'd post up in case anybody was interested (I play violin).

I've seen her play! Msincredible is a rock star on stage http://forums.snapstream.com/vb/images/smilies/headbang.gif and not surprisingly, one of the section leaders.

If I understand the hierarchy correctly, she only needs to assassinate one other violinist to assume the title of Concertmaster.

Hey Paula, when did you start playing for that other orchestra? Does Parnassus know you're moonlighting on them?

MsIncredible, my wife, daughter and I have tickets to the Sunday June 8th Beethoven concert. We saw the SFS with Land Lang a couple of weeks ago playing Beethoven Piano Concerto #1. My daughter plays violin for her HS orchestra and her teacher plays for the Oakland Eastbay Symphony. We are avid concert goers but this will be our first with your orchestra. Definitely looking forward to your great concert and hopefully you can spot us on row D which is 8 rows back and slightly left center. We'll be waving to you! Wave back! :) This is a pic of us from last weekend.

Just started for this concert, there are a few of us doing both. I can't keep up with the rehearsals for both though, one is going to have to go.

Good luck, have fun.

What's the difference between a violin and a viola?
There is no difference. The violin just looks smaller because the violinist's head is so much bigger.

Ooooooo........Mahler 5. Can't beat the Adagio in that. One of my favorite moments in music. It's rare to hear that live around here. Sounds like a solid concert.
