The moderators are cowards.
Enjoy your Tikit. I've found the stock gearing sufficient to conquer even the steepest hills around here. I can't find my serial number and I'm not losing any sleep over it. The Tikit is one bike that is unlikely to be stolen as I never leave it locked up - I just take it in with me...:thumb:
Post some pics if you can...:innocent:

Could you post pics of the twiddly knob thingy? I have the hyperfold, but I think the impulse fold would be more reliable over the long haul. I just want to see how different it is.

Some how I think that this is true... the hyperfold is a neat gimmick, but I don't know about the long term reliability. I had now two problems due to the hyper... one with the post not unfolding (solved! thanks vik!) and the second one, I found was the hyperfold cable crushing the shifter cable and preventing the shifter from working. It took a while to find that one...
The rest of the bike seems to be very high quality and even without the hyper, I think that you will have fun with your bike. There will certainly be fewer headaches. Congrats!

JD: Congratulations, the tikit is very nice. We were at Urbane last weekend to get parts for my 16ner project, we were looking at the white one. My girlfriend fell in love with it! Then we saw the price, yikes! It looks to be a pretty good bike (the one speed not included, just didn't make sense to me).
