Foo - Red Hook Blonde Ale

I don't know why but Red Hook Blonde Ale is just so frickin' tasty tonight. I have drunk it numerous times before but I have had a recent kick of choosing that over other beers. Does anyone else have a favorite brew that they have been taking a recent liking to?

I've recently discovered Spaten. I like the Pilsner; the Optimator is good but a little heavy for my taste. I always check the ratings at beeradvocate.com after choosing a new brew to try.

Creemore, in Southern Ontario. I don't know how widely it is a available. The company was purchased by a large international beer company last year, but so far they haven't spoiled it.

If they would make a good non-alcoholic beer I would drink non-alcoholic beer. I don't drink non-alcoholic beer. Do the math.

EDIT: Were there ever any good non-alcoholic beers? My grandpa used to drink O'Douls. But he would always like to "taste" the beer I was drinking. And by taste, I mean steal my beer. I wonder often if I helped him to the grave.

Nah. I mean the Blonde Ale. Their IPA isn't too bad. I much prefer other IPAs though because theirs is a bit weak. Newcastle is pretty damn good.

Pelican's Kiwanda Creme Ale.

If you have had the Terrapin Golden Ale then it is similar to that. Terrapin Golden Ale is also a pretty damn good beer.

As for the RedHook brews, the Blonde Ale is OK but I like their ESB, Summer seasonal and the Longhammer IPA better.
If you're in the Seattle area, visit RedHook and take the brewery tour. You get to try all their routine production brews and learn the history of the brewery. It's pretty cool.

Mac & Jack's Amber. I don't think they do bottling, but I may be entirely wrong. Got a mug of that with dinner the other night and it was prime stuff.
