Great Wise Bicycle Commutists out there, please help me with my problem!

I commute to work, grocery shop, fetch timber from Home Depot, meet freinds, stop at garage sales, and haul my kids' scooters to them when they are stuck at someone else's house. I do all these things by bike with the aid of a burley flat bed trailer or a pair of paniers.

What I don't do by bike is transport my kids' bicycles, the canoe, and larger items from Home Depotee kinds of places. I'm not handy at all, so I cant fasion several trailors for various needs. Does anyone have any ideas how I can accomplish all my SUV impulses without polluting and wreaking havoc on the good neighborhoods of south minneapolis? Is there a better all purpose trailer than what I curently have?

Sounds like you need a larger trailer...Yep, forget those wimpy little trailers!

For trailers to cary the canoe and lumber take a look at the Bikes At Work web sight at
http://www.bikesatwork.com/bike-trailers/
I have used there products and found they worked very well.

Our, if you have a friend that can build you one, see

I have a friend who is in love with xtracycles... I've thought about getting one myself, for doing the sort of stuff you wrote about.
