Foo - Perspective.......

I've just been reading some of the news stories about the earthquake in China.

I had to stop. Here I am at my desk at work reading about a little girl who's parents have died, her legs were badly broken and after 40 hours in the rubble rescuers said she appeared happy and was telling them she likes to watch TV and do drawings... Man, I'm a 35 year old man and I'm welling up with tears at my desk. I had to close my office door.

I know this stuff happens all the time but it really puts things into perspective.

Here I am moaning about the cost of my phone bill going up and maybe a rent increase.... I have a job, healthy kids, I ride, an understanding gorgeous girlfriend, all is great.

I gotta make an effort to be happier with my lot in life. I'm no millionaire but sh*t, life is good.

I wish I could be there helping pull kids out from under buildings before its too late.....

I concur. Things like these horrible natural disasters really makes you realize how good you have it.

It's all in how you look at things.

In order to see all the good that we have, we need to focus on what we can give. Then restructure what we need to survive. It's very simple indeed. Life is good to us in so many ways but there are so many who cannot see it.

At least you are able to. :)
