has anybody up here suffered a pulled hamstring? and how long did it take to get back to your original luster. i have spent nearly 3 weeks off my road bike and i almost bit my boss's head off today:twitchy: im going nutts lol. before i pulled it i finally had my first metric century of the year and was feeling great now its all gone to heck. to salt my wounds, now that im not riding, we have had great weather and temps here in the northeast. i can finally do some light rides mountain biking but i think im still at LEAST a week or more before im back on the road bike. the pull was from behind my knee on the lower part of the hamstring. i am just glad it wasnt a tear.

Well I pulled a back muscle doing deadlifts a couple years ago... took me about 1 month for the pain to go away, and another month to get to the point where I wouldn't feel pain at all when I moved. So 2 months total. I would recommend getting a lot of sleep (8 hours or so), and get your diet squared away to help aid the recovery process.
