Am I the only one whose saliva gets warm when they're about to throw up?

I ate a salad, using pre cleaned/plastic bag organic lettuce that i got at 35% off, because today was the sell by date.

I ate this about an hour ago.

Ten minutes ago my saliva heated up, but nothing came up. Otherwise I feel fine.

I wonder if I have a case of food poisoning about to kick in?

The next few hours should be interesting. :twitchy:

I'll keep you posted.

I'll start salivating heavily a few minutes before hand, but I've never noticed it being warmer prior to chucking up.

Good luck and take pictures.

EDIT: I figure I should add that 95% of my vomit is hangover-related and not microbe-related.

no clue what that means.

Although some do, not too many people get sick on produce that is about to expire. It's bacteria that gets them ill, and usually found in rotting meat. Unless he had meat or cheese that was bad in the salad.

exactly what i assume it may be.

stomach's rumbling, but that's about it.

now i'm off for a boat ride in the Amsterdamse grachten.

Siu was right. That original post is pretty MERTONesque.

Too bad all traces of his forum existence have been sealed and can't even be requested through the Freedom of Information Act.

And if you haven't learned that discounted salad might be sketchy by this point, botto, well, I'm not sure what to tell you.

I salivate heavily, but do not recall hotness associated with it. Next time I am about to hurl, I will try to take notes so we can compare.

Also, I hope that it is all just a false alarm. I hate food associated nauseau. It is not fun, esp. the shaking, sweating and cramping that I usually get. Best of Luck Botto.

I thought you got sick to your stomach right after the kill usually. Oh wait, that is me, never mind.

The latest pics of Shadiyah in the "Green Dress" thread have me salivating heavily (AKA, "drooling"), and there's plenty of hotness associated with it.

I noticed my cat would start to drool before he threw up a furball. I appreciated the early warning signal so I could grab some newspaper.

+/- a 6 pack, and a pizza, it appears to be just that.

Were I to find myself as Mother Nature for a day, I think it'd be tough to not decree pizza and/or beer as the Cure For All Things.

I figured that if I could stomach sitting in a canal boat, riding through the canals of Amsterdam for 1.5 hours, that I could stomach anything.

Apparently I was correct.

Yeah, speaking of which... I don't really know how to say this, but the guys asked me to uninvite you to the next sacrifice. I'm sorry. But, I mean they were new robes and all... The stains will never come out.
