Just for shirts I layer, legs don't get cold. Depends on the snowThe kind that was a few days ago was good to ride on, today's was powder mixed with sleet.
I went out today too. It was much harder than I thought it would be but it was so much fun.
Too hardcore for me. It was only in the 40's today and I was still uncomfortable. My nose was running, my ears/fingers/toes were all frozen. But it was still a blast :o
I rode this morning in the driving snow for 55 minutes. My first ride in the snow this year. Wish I 'd taken pictures too. Nice one! How long were you out?

Was out from 2-4:15pm
Great Pics! Looks like a blast! I should have taken some pics today too. But alas, all there was to look at was the brown of winter foilage.
I think the world had turn topsie-turvey (sp)! My weather conditions are listed below. Needless to say, I had to take layers off!
61°F :D Fair Feels Like 61°F UV Index: 1 Minimal Dew Point: 31°F Humidity: 32% Visibility: Unlimited Pressure: 29.46 inches and falling Wind: From the South at 22 gusting to 31 mph
Yep, 61F !!!!! Feels like May/June here! The head winds really sucked. Glad to see others getting out to enjoy the snow while it lasts.

nice pictures.
there's no real snow here yet, but i decided to ride to a downtown mosque for friday sermon yesterday. it was -3C with a windchill of -9C (that's 27F & 16F respectively)... i rode kinda easy and took about an hour and a half to ride the 15 km or so to the mosque. my feet were frozen, fingers went numb but it was still a nice ride. on the way home i found some of the nice stair gaps that i've seen in some of the videos with toronto footage. hopefully, by summer i'll have enough guts to hit them.
i also can't wait until we get a real snowfall... i just might get some studded tires and give a snow ride through the don valley a try if we can get some snow with the kind of temps we had yesterday.

You don't need studded tires of you have an MTB. Knobbies work fine most of the time.

Sounds like fun... I want some snow! :(
Danka, you are one lucky lizard to have snow. Where we are in the UK south east, we might get a light dusting of the white stuff for a day, but nothing like what you get. It sure looks like fun. Nice pics.
