Just picked up one at Performance today...
($349.99 - 20% coupon)

It it unbelievably bright. How can such a small package kick out so much power for over 3 hours... Simply blinding.

It's the miracle of science. Or for the layperson, witchcraft!

You better get a whole lot of light for that kind of money!

$350 seems reasonable to me. The NR Trinewt has a nice wide beam which makes it desirable for a lot of people.

I have had mine for a few months and the burn time is right on spec.. 3.5 on high and 7 hours on low..

I find myself using the low mode for a majority of my road rides and it is just fine.. This will be great for summer night rides where I may need a longer burn time.

It is just as bright as my Arc HID which it replaced..

I love mine!

Wait till the first time you use it on strobe! People see you!

Good to hear that about the run time. I was out on some singletrack last night and though that even on low power the light was very good.

It's definitely worth the money.

Whatever you do, don't joke around and show your friends by shining it into their face.

You could blind someone with that.

Anyone who says LEDs don't have the power though....heh. NUKE!

I've been looking at that light, but have seen reports/reviews that take issue with the mount. They report that it tends to not hold the light in place very well when you hit bumps, sometimes making the light point straight down. Have you had any issues with the mounting bracket?

IMO the mount works best with flat handlebars as, AFAIK, that's what it's made for. With drop bars and dual control shifters, the shifter cables are in front of the light.
