Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - Clyde/Athena Ride Toronto

Okay, I know there are several of us, here in Toronto, anyone want to get together to schedule a C&A ride? Thinking some time in June. When and where to be determined. Please let me know here if interested. I tried for last fall, but it never happened.

My difficulty is putting my bike in my car and driving an hour (or three hours at the wrong time of day) to the big town to ride in traffic...

When outside my front door is rural road cycling paradise -- Niagara west. Some rides I don't see a dozen cars. Friends in TBN and TFG can't believe what I refer to as "heavy traffic."

Plenty of good routes of all lengths down here if any body's interested.

Right now thinking part of the MG Trail and maybe out to the lighthouse at Tommy Thompson Park would be nice, only a little bit of traffic, need to find a trail head where out-of-town folks can park for several hours for a reasonable fee. My preference would be a Saturday morning.

BTW The folks from Buffalo and Rochester are welcome to come, distance and actual ride location are to be determined by the whole group.

Ride is open to all riders who fit into the Clydesdale or Athena class, they do not need to be BF members. BF members can PM me here, non BF members (and BF members) can email wogsterca@yahoo.ca as well, just mention Clyde/Athena Ride in the subject, so I will know it's in regards to this, as opposed to the 65,536 messages about Nigerian fraud, male enhancement and Euro lottery wins, that seem to end up there on a daily basis.

Starting point, distance and ride date are all to be determined later, by the interested riders.
