cranky old dude

I haven't had much opportunity to ride this month due to
many, many family obligations. So numerous were these obligations
that I was too worn out to commute by bike and have been driving.
We just returned from Chicago and we have secured a Studio
for our daughter for the Summer on N. Lake Shore Dr. in Wrigglyville
(Boys Town) whatever. It's three blocks from the ballpark. She wants
to take a bike with her for recreational purposes and she asked me to
ready her old Schwinn as it's a real POS and we won't be out anything
if someone steals it. It is one of our curbside finds.
So two new tires, two pair of new brake pads, a replacement front brake
from my parts bucket, repacked wheel bearings (front & Rear) and I
believe it's ready to go.

Like I said...it's nothing special.
Tomorrow we're off to Albany to pick up one of our other daughters, next
Friday & Saturday is Convocation and Graduation for the oldest daughter at
R.I.T.. This will be special as she's the Engineering School Delegate.
Then the following week it's back to Chicago to move in our third daughter, furniture
and all.
I'm getting tired.
