Do any Clydes here race any form of cycling? Unfortuately, I am probably built and have talents more for track cycling, but T-town is the closest track and 3.5 hours away. I certainly put in my share of long rides, but at 6'5, 235 pounds, I cannot keep up for very long races. I am basically looking to get competitive within a sport and would love to find my niche within cycling. I tried sprint triathlons, but too much running gives me little injures that are annoying. Are there types of races out there where us Cyles could still compete?

Try endurance riding. Randoneuring, that kind of thing.

I have done the cycling leg of a couple of team triathlons, you might find a runner and swimmer buddy and do something like that, or they also have some team duathlons around.
