Hello. With a 36V system is it possible to use a 12V switch (automotive) to turn off the system and why/why not? If not, where can 36V switches be found?
About wiring, what have people found to be the best gauge/type of wire to use with a 36V system to interconnect the batteries, etc? I have 2 types of wire pulled from a stove that has the following written on the side:
Type 1: CSA TYPE TEW 105oC FT-1 14 AWG AWM 1015 VW-1
Type 2: CSA TYPE TEW 600V 105oC FT-1 16 AWG LL39965 AWM 1015 VW-1
I'm thinking the larger gauge (14 AWG) would be better, correct? Yes, I don't know much about electronics, but I'm trying to learn. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. :)
