I bought my bike Monday and started commuting Tuesday morning. I commuted 14 miles round trip 3 days this week and went for my first long ride. I rode 16 miles in about 1:13:25 with an average speed of about 13.10 mph. Not bad for a 298.8lb Clyde for his first week of riding I say! I had a great time. I even bumped into a couple of people from the local cycling club I am going to join. My goal next weekend is to ride 20 miles. I definately could have done it today. So I have done 66 miles this week so far and I still have 1 more day left.:thumb:
