Sat/5/17. Did 40 miles from home up to Devore. 97 HOT degrees when I fininshed, up to 99 now! Wise choice by Gina to stay home and sit this one out. Toughest part of the ride is on the return. Rolling windy section on Banyan and Lemon, Ouch!

The road next to the 15 fwy heading up to Sierra/Lytle Creek. I should have kept going to Vegas, Yeah right!::roflmao2:

Had to stop on the return for some G-Ade and a bar.......and shade!

Yes, it's 94 here now. Considering it was rainy and in the mid-50s 2 days ago, the shift has not been an easy one.

But Tuesday and Wednesday were those glorious spring days that make the insanity and inanity of living in the LA Basin worth it, those beautiful days that cause climate envy in the less fortunate.

Wasn't quite 97, but was about 88 and the humidity was definitely climbing. It will be 97 soon, uggghh, and the humidity will be 97% too. That's the good thing out there Beanz, lower humidity. That still is a great looking bike too.

We got into the low 70's and gusty winds here in Maryland. Gorgeous day to put in 20 with my son.

Well, don't envy the 90-100+ days of California (why I left there to move up here :D ). Today was supposed to be my hiking day with a friend and his gf, but he was having issues with his truck. We made it all the way to North Bend (was headed to the Taylor River) and he decided since he couldn't find a dealership in North Bend he should take the truck back to the Sumner dealership where he bought it. After two long hours they couldn't replicate the issue and our day was shot. Was considering taking the day off from biking, but went for a dusk ride to the movies and back up the hill in the darkness. I love that night ride. It's nice not needing a jacket for the trip home. :thumb:
