Fifty Plus (50+) - My Birthday 5/18

Turning 53 tomorrow. Not riding at all. Family coming over. Husband took me out to our favorite sushi bar last night. Went to Pt. Reyes Station with my sisters today. Start my new job on Monday. Life is good.

Thanks Tru. I already received a card from a friend who insisted I eat one of everything off the dessert tray. So, in that spirit, enjoy every bike of a big piece of cake tomorrow. I think it's perfect that you start your new job the next day..... beginning a new life as you begin a new year.

My birthday was the 13th so I went out and pedaled 60 miles today, a gorgeous day in CenTx...wildflowers galore and everything green.

We had a "California Winter" day ... in mid-afternoon it was 55 & breezy, going down to 37 tonight.

And since it was a Sunday, my bike group helped me ride my age. 25 miles into a 27mph headwind and 26 miles of practically no pedaling all the way back.
