Like I said I was lucky because the weather was on my side that day. It was sunny all the way up and on the way down. But even with the sun it was kind of cold near the top. But as you have guessed I was so pumped that I did not need anything until I stopped pedalling at the very top. As a matter of fact that was the only time I could stop pedalling, otherwise I would have fallen down. On the way down I had a light jacket. I was offered warmer stuff and should have taken it but didn't. I was cold coming down because we were flying but that only lasted about 20 minutes till we reached a warmer climate.
