Cycling uses hip flexors. If you do hills or lots of hard sprinting, the pain is worse. Do stretching.

1. Reposition your bike seat. Others are smarter about this than I am about the "best" position, but I found that tilting the nose downward slightly helped me.
2. Wear shorts with chamois (http://www.performancebike.com/shop/profile.cfm?SKU=19869&srccode=2047&cm_mmc=Froogle-_-Datafeed-_-null-_-null).
3. Buy a gel bike seat cover (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00005OKZ7).
4. Get your bike professionally fitted.
