Great effort! I liked the animal character. Consider pasting the entire report directly
into BF for easier access :-) I learned to ski at Sunapee. Has to be a beautiful place

Nice writeup. As I was reading it, it sounded like you were in my group (Cat5 35+) and then as I read further it was just as my race went. I think I got dropped from the lead group before you did (at about mile 15.5 up the shorter but steepest climb), but somehow worked with some stragglers to get back with you guys.
After the first lap, we had almost latched back onto the lead group, but it was too much to hang on to. I'm pretty sure I was working with you and the others for a good while. Finished right along with you, 29th (of 44 finishers, 51 starters).
It was my first race, what a blast. The weather couldn't have been nicer. See you around one of the next races.

Somehow that makes me feel better that I was 32nd of 51, and not just 32nd of 44. How petty of me. :)

Yeah, 44, 51, doesn't make much of a difference, but it's the little things.:) I was in a red/white kit, NorEast.
