Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

OK, a little change of pace from our usual posts.
I'd like to introduce you to the youngest member of the NorCal team - my son Nicholas, who, at 4 1/2 years just learned to ride his bike without training wheels.

He's signed up to do a triathlon in June (for kids). He'll be riding with us before you know it!

The first day I rode a bike was really the day I was born.

Congrats...
My son was able to ride solo just last month and he is 6YO. Can I borrow him as my stoker for the tandem rally?

KILLER!!!!
I remember so clearly the day I had my Dad take of my training wheels. The feeling of finding that balance was....OHHHHHHHH!!!! It was so wonderful.
Congrats! Rock on!
Print this thread out and hand it over in 20 years.

That's great Alan. I can see it now ... climbing up Tunitas, and he just passes right by me as if I was standing still.
