now i understand that in order to bar spin you must have a 650c front wheel. is it okay to run 650 in the front but 700 in the back? i guess its okay since its only about an inch slope. also can you get 650c velocity deep v's? another thing, what type of risers should i get, how steep of a slope upward. what else should i get to start bar spinnin?

yes its ok, no you dont need a 650 if your 700 clears your downtube, you can get 650 deep v's, it is less than an inch slope, get whatever risers you want, and make sure your stem clears your top tube when it goes around.

Get a BMX bike... they come barspinnable stock and they are actually made to do tricks on...

many bikes with straight forks are barspinnable with 700c wheels. raleigh rush hours for instance. you might also consider just getting a new fork with next to no rake from your lbs and hoping for the best. that in some cases can be cheaper than building up a 650c deep v with 36 spokes to high flange hubs.

Here's a vid from 1899 filmed by Thomas Edison of one of his employees trick riding a fixie.
He does a bar spin on a clearly non-650 wheel.

more and more I start to dislike this site...wow, just sad on how low the quality has gone. it's one thing when folks just don't know about something but when there are constant jokers all the time w/o actually being useful, this site is really useless. i'm about to really quit on this place because i get tired of reading all this junk all the time where most are either trying to be an internet comedian or tough guy

OK...there are actually a few things you want to consider when trying to make your bike bar spinable. Firstly you want to make sure your fork can clear the frame with a 700c wheel, if it cant...and you dont have an inch or less of tire clearance, dont bother getting a new wheel. Look for a new fork that will let you tire spin with a 700c wheel, if you have too much tire overlap move down to a 650c wheel. But thats only the first bit to make your bike bar spinable. You don't want bars that drop down too much, or else they will eat your frame...some short bull horns work, upwards drops even work. but I'd say relatively narrow mini risers or flat bars will do depending on your stem.
Thats about it...but I dont think your ready if you didnt already know all that.

I think I'm going to sell that saddle on eBay for a nice buck or two.
Today I converted that bike into a retro-direct (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retro-Direct).
