Me and a buddy are heading down around Harrisonburg for a few days. I am wondering if anybody would suggest cool bars, places to hang out, rides, campgrounds in that area.

Check in at Shenandoah Cycle shop. They have lots of ride info and were really friendly folks when I last went there. I found some nice rides on my own east of McGaheysville.
Can't give you any help on bars though. Don't drink.
There's an indoor/outdoor water park at Massanutten - about 13 miles east of Harrisonburg.

Find Port Republic Rd, off of I-81 and look for signs to James Madison University. Several bars around the college. Not familiar with specific spots in town, but I've seen a few 'hangouts' near the college.
