I have a couple of those, they dont hold the light very well.

They don't? In what way are they a disappointment? Are the Two Fish blocks better? I'd like to know as I'm trying to decide between these two mounting systems.

they have not been received very well at all.. The lockblocks still work great for me..

I have one that works great. I don't care much for the orange screw downs but some spray paint can fix that. I too would like to know what makes this product disappointing. I will order some Lockblocks to see how they work, but it looks like the light is held with a hook & loop fastener. Is that correct?

busted knuckles, maybe you should get someone with good knuckles to tighten the screws for you.

The lockblocks hold lights well and are easy and quick to install.. about 30 seconds and your done..

Based on the many negative comments on these I would recommend the
2fishblocks.

The two "plates" that swivel are loose, so the light wobbles. I would get the two fish mount.

They also don't fit on handlebars with foam tape on them- the mounting screws aren't long enough. How's that for bad design! If your handlebar is thicker than 7/8" forget about buyinig these...

Yep, lots of bikes (road and mountain) come with 31.8mm bars now, so even if you think the mount is what you want, check your bar diameter in the area where you'd attach it.
