Ride suggestions for La Canada area...

I have a meeting in La Canada tomorrow afternoon and I'm thinking about taking my bike up there for a ride. Should I just go straight up Hwy 2 or is there a better route?

-CJAC is as good as it gets for a simple up and down ride. Don't know what kind of traffic is on there in the afternoon as AC connects to Angeles Forest headed to Palmdale and people do use that way to commute.

If riding in the p.m., riding with drivers returning to the high desert does not make for a pleasant experience. You might avoid most commuters by parking and riding AC from Clear Creek.

They call it the "Palmdale 500". Groups of speeding commuters, yuck. They turn off at Clear Creek and get on Angeles Forest.
