I am going to be taking the Lewis and Clark trail starting from Great Falls Montana to Kansas City, Mo. I was wondering if anyone has
a) Ridden that route.
and
b) ridden through the Charles Russell wildlife refuge rather than follow the adventure cycling maps. It just seems a shame to pass that up. I checked the web site doe the refuge and it says bikes are allowed and there are designated camping areas. I was planning on just trying to find my way through but I wanted to see if anyone else had first. Any comments would be much appreciated.
